TipFinder 1.3.1 Released
Hi everyone, I’m aware these posts have been very infrequent the past few weeks but regardless, lots has happened in the development space as well as my recently addiction to snowboarding!
Firstly I’d like to announce that TipFinder 1.3.1 has been released, this is only a minor update due to an email i got from a representative at NetDragon Websoft Inc. requesting a chinese version of TipFinder for their Android Market (www.hiapk.com). Therefore I localized the application to Chinese Simplified and Traditional and released it with the current fixes already implemented.
A few minor updates, nothing dramatic
1) TipFinder now supports zh_rCN (Simplified Chinese) and zh_rTW (Traditional Chinese)
If you would like TipFinder to support your language, please send me an email at james.l.giang@gmail.com
2) A few users have reported crashes – this was due to a null pointer exception when the application was looking for your address. The issue is now resolved.
3) “Searching for location…” dialog was appearing behind the “No Internet” dialog box. Fixed so it shouldn’t appear at all.
That’s all the updates for now, however I am currently working on twitter integration (for sharing tips) – it’s not fully polished enough for a release yet – but will definitely be in the next release!
Once again, thank you everyone for downloading TipFinder, currently hit 710 downloads! So happy!!!
