TipFinder Update

The other day I posted up about an Android app I’m building to replicate the “Nearby Tips” function available on the iPhone. As of tonight, it’s in clean working order.

The beauty of TipFinder is that unlike the Foursquare app, you don’t need an account to use TipFinder. Just run the app, and based on where you are, you’ll get all the tips via Foursquare’s API.

With 10+ check-ins per second, Foursquare’s popularity is growing, and hopefully more people will put down tips!

I’ll post up a download link sometime tomorrow probably :)

Update: TipFinder is now available via the Android Market – just search “TipFinder” – click here to read more
